Not quite yet...but it sure feels like it here the past few days! It has been HOT!!!
I always have displays for each season as well as most holidays in my home. I have 4 small Christmas trees that stay out year round for some my displays and I have baskets and boxes and just whatever else I can think of that holds my stitching displays :) I am working on my Summer/July 4th displays right now :) I started this cute design (this is my second time stitching it-the first time I finished it as a needle roll and sent it to a friend)last night and finished it up this afternoon. I made this one a hanging pillow finish and it's too cute!! The design works well for both Summer and the 4th :)
I used a CUTE fabric with watermelon seeds on it for the back :)
Notice the quilt underneath?? That was made by my great grandmother over 46 years ago. It is made from fabrics she took from clothing and scraps. It is among my MOST treasured possessions. I sure wish she were here today to "create" with me :)
