Hello friends...I hope you all have had a lovely weekend and those in the US have had a lovely long weekend and Memorial Day. We stayed quite busy with Memorial Day activities...today though plans with friends were cancelled due to our flooding rains. With hubby and my BIL and SIL all military or former military today is special and is observed in our family. Please take a minute to remember all those that have given their lives for our freedom as well as those that continue to serve so we may have that freedom.
I stitched the 1997 PS Fairie over the long weekend. Still deciding on a finish for her :)

Right now I have three WIPs:
The Nancy Cartmel 1810 sampler bag I started on January 1st. I'm struggling with it because I really want to move on to some other things that are calling my name but I really want to see it finished too!

Last but certainly not least is the scissors holder I'm doing for the exchange you are hosting. I can't tell you what it is because my partner might be reading. ;o)

Please send me your mailing information ladies :) Also, please be advised that I only go to the PO twice a month. It may be 2 weeks before I am able to mail out your winnings-but you WILL receive them. Thanks to all that entered-I always wish I could give everyone something. I am making a change to the way I do giveaways-You will not need to do anything to be included in any giveaway I have on my blog-I have wrote down and cut up the list of names that visit my blog and they will all remain in the bowl that I can draw from each time so that I will not have to cut up and print out names each time :) If you are new to my blog and want to be included in a giveaway when I post one-all you need to do is email me and I will add your name to the bowl. When I draw a name I will ask you to contact me to see if you wish to collect the giveaway I am offering-if not, I will draw another name-but your name will always remain in the bowl for any future giveaways and you do not have to do anything to be included.
Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit. I just have not been spending any time online. I have been stitching when I can and doing other activities that do not involve online time. I MISS you all a great deal and I do hope I can find the desire to get back into a regular blog visiting routine-My unread feeds in google reader are MANY!!!!-I took the time today to delete all the blogs that are never updated or that I never read anymore for whatever reasons from my google reader...maybe this will help me to not feel so overwhelmed and behind. I feel badly that I haven't visited your blogs and you continue to visit mine. I can't thank you enough for that though and I DO SO appreciate it. Thanks to those that have emailed me-I SO enjoy hearing from you all...though lately I have been very slow to respond to emails due to circumstances in our family and limited online time-please know I TRULY do enjoy receiving your personal email. I seem to be having some email issues though and I am not sure if some of my replies have gotten through. I know that Amy and I are having a terrible time communicating VIA email. If you have emailed with anything that requires a reply and I have not responded, chances are I am not receiving-or my replies are not going through to you-please try again :)
