BeckyBee's Stitching Hive 2010-04-05:

Link: Magnetic needlebook tutorial :)
I have had so many email about my A Bird in Hand stitcher's book finish :) I didn't have anything big enough stitched up to make another stitcher's book so that I could do a tutorial-but this small magnetic needlebook basically uses the SAME technique I used for the stitcher's book. I put this one together today-the stitched piece was a piece stitched in a LONG ago RR and is stitched by Lani. I am happy to finally have it finished off into something useful :)

I don't really care for doing tutorials as I am MUCH more the hands on type demonstrator/teacher....but because so many of you have asked I couldn't say no :)And you're all so sweet with your comments/emails-how could I refuse :) PLEASE, if you have questions- email me as I would prefer answering them in an email than trying to answer here on my blog :) Thanks so much :)

Though this has no pocket to hold things like a hornbook (which is what is pictured in my stitcher's book for those that asked-I plan to do an ABC finish for it soon)-it's still basically the very same finish :) I also used a piece of fabric for the spine instead of using just the ribbon that ties the book shut :)
Please visit my Tutorial here :) I have tried my best to simplify the finish for those that have emailed that they have NO sewing skills whatsoever. This one is very simple and anyone can do this finishing.

Thank you so much for you continued visits to my blog. I enjoy hearing from you so very much :) Please do come again :)
hugs and love from SC,
BeckySC :)
